If you put aside some of the unbelievable elements in the wake of the nuclear explosions, this wasn't a bad episode. I had to laugh at the horses that were immune to the fallout while everyone else was wearing masks.

But I did like the post-apocalyptic feel to it and the emergence of Strand as a villain. Yes, his whole set-up is over the top, but I was willing to put it aside because it was a more gritty, anything can happen sort of episode. It's more interesting too with a character we've known for a long time becoming the big bad on the show, rather than the usual villain per season approach.
