Yeah, had a lot of school stuff going on, but this season was TOO good to not come back eventually.

People don't give season 7 enough love. Sure... I lost 3 of my 5 favorite characters, but it is what it is... Overall the season was very solid (except for "Swear" haha).

This is the best season ever.

I don't remember the show by seasons, so I have no idea how the others rank with me.

But I do still love Season 1 because everyone was young and trying to figure it all out. I liked learning the rules in the beginning (use a head shot, everyone is infected, etc.). I'm surprised it's not more popular.

The Dawn and the hospital season is the one I least liked, because of my hatred of Dawn. I don't know how it would have rated if I had not had that visceral response. Maybe that season was great in all artistic respects. Don't know--don't rewatch. :)

Well. fair enough... but maybe you should re-watch them, to give them another chance:)
    My season's rating would be...

    4, 5, 2,1, 9, 6, 3, 7, 8

Individual episodes are harder. I loved the first episode, The Grove, when Tyreese died, Clear, this last one was pretty good...

Season 5 is my second favorite season after 9, but the hospital heavy episodes (4, 7, and 8) were really bad imo. One of, if not the worst arcs in the series.

Tara discovering Oceanside and the Governor bottle episodes might be worse, but they didn't drag as long and unnecessarily suck all the other characters into their story.

I've seen season 1 twice. Never rewatched an episode after that.

I think I've seen every episode at least five times...

For whatever weird reason I prefer watching TWD reruns to watching a new series. I do the same with Community.

Me too, my DVR takes a beating because I prefer to rewatch TWD 20 billion times through the week, over new episodes of other shows I record. LOL

I feel similarly. I've seen all six episodes a handful of times, but Season 1's quality really stems from those first three episodes. 5 is pretty good and 4/6 are fine, but definitely weird fillers. The back three though just don't surpass most episodes from any other season. In hindsight they're not as amazing as I think most people say they are.

Oh thank god I am not the only one LMAO!! It is actually the only show I can watch on repeat.

Although I will need to re-watch season 1 (premiered January 2017) of Taboo just prior to season 2 which will not start filming until late this year *crying*

Two other series that I do watch on the weekly (but nearly as passionately) are Preacher and American Gods. But I do not re-watch them.

I did watch FTWD up through season 4 but I am not holding out much, if any, hope that season 5 will improve so much that it warrants me committing to an hour each week. Maybe it will improve enough that I will be one of those people who are included in the live +7 day rating numbers

Buy the blu rays then you get all the extras and featurettes. I really enjoy the audio commentary. I have every season with the exception of 8. I will buy it at some point. Probably when I buy season 9
