What makes it unbelievable is that she's faced so much loss. Everyone she's cared about has died and now she finally goes PTSD over the near death experience with the Chernobyl walkers.

 

AMC actually recommended bringing them into the pitch process, because they’d had such positive experiences with them in the past. I’m so glad they did.

But, by now, wouldn't everyone at AMC have watched for themselves what has happened and read the confirming reviews and realized this show has become a fiasco of implausible, inane behavior and shallow, cursory, disjointed plotting?

We who love this universe so much that we love to discuss every detail with each other, the most open-hearted and enthusiastic fans, have evolved into finding the humor in how bad this has become as we wait it out. Sometimes things just don't work out. I don't know why AMC doesn't get that yet, no matter what high hopes they had for these two showrunners.
