I will never understand for the life of me why. Seriously, i lurked before registering, for a good couple of months! Then i can say I had the most amazing summer last year with the people I have met on here. I have made a lifelong bestie with @zombiemom62 and I have already flown to Tampa TWICE to visit (and going back in February). I owe that friendship to this forum. There are countless of people on here that are hilarious, there are those that are serious and most comment on threads with really good feedback or questions on the show. I wont even begin to mention the posters who reduce me to tears from laughing. The live reaction thread for show night feels like i have everyone right in my living room. So why is it that there are those who do not even give this forum a chance or see it for what it is?

 

I lurked here forever, too. Happy I decided to start posting. Most of the regular posters are very insightful and witty. There's also a fair share of crazies, trolls and we can't dismiss TD.

OK,,,who blabbed and told that the spoiler section was THE place to lurk?? Lots of us whores hung out there huh?

 

This really is a fun and challenging place. I feel sorry for those who can't keep up and who feel they need to draw attention to themselves by being insulting and/or obnoxious. And the mods are quicker on the trigger when it comes to deleting troll threads and banning the offenders. (You hear me, agadu? I know you're out there lurking.)

But we don't have any actual TD'ers here. I understand from reading some posts that there may be some at other sites.

 

This is the season where I keep hearing a door slam, and I think some one is at my house, but it just keeps being [MENTION=3700]H5N1[/MENTION] showing another troll the door. I think it's time to put in a revolving door! Preferably one just like Noah found himself in...

 

I'm new to the forum, but I'm here to stay. I binge watched seasons 1-5 in August, then joined the forums looking for more and just in time for Fear The Walking Dead. Most of my thoughts have already been posted by the time I've got here for 601 and 602, but it's still good to read the various ideas and bounce things off of each other.

I have a question for you guys though: Where is Season 6 in relation to the comics?

I just started reading TWD, currently about to start Issue 35. I know the show differs from the comics significantly, but not entirely.

 

I think we are currently around issues 70-80.

 

I started lurking around the end of season 2. Joined last Feb, still mostly lurk lol

I have quite a bit more reading to get to the present, but the better news is that there's still so much more story to tell on television. I recall Kirkman talking about 11 or 12 seasons and I hope they get there!! This series has me so hype.

 

i signed up because of FTWD and mostly lurk on account of that show not being active at the moment, but it's been interesting to watch the forum dynamics. i would say the good well outweighs the bad.

all forums have their twits, but it seems like the mods are nicely responsive. so: yay.
