    There aren't many people left. People will need to do everything possible to repopulate if we ever are to maintain a society that's above "hunter-gatherer". Therefore bigamy could be encouraged but same-sex marriages would be a big no-no.

    I'm still waiting for that in the books, it's torture. He'S just as bad as Joffrey only more psychopathic somehow.

    Glenn and Maggie already got married. I mean, I guess they could renew their vows, but what would be the point in getting married again?

    This was their wedding on the show(confirmed by Yeun himself)-

    Although in the comic, they actually had a small service which Hershel presided over; the moment he give Maggie the ring in the show is considered the moment they exchanged vows and became joined in holy matrimony.

    But, I think it would be neat to see them renew their vows after becoming settled in the safe zone; as a way of transitioning into a "new life", leaving the past behind them.

    Meh. The way I see it what Glenn did is like telling someone, "here, you can have my car". That works great between you two, but when you want to sell it, the person on the title is the one who really owns the car, not the one you "gave" it to. In the same way, it's great that he gave her a ring, but I'd see that as an engagement. It's not the real deal until you get the stamp of approval from God. (or, I suppose, the local court house).
