I think they have done a great job building up the character of Aaron so I think we will be seeing a lot more from him going forward. His boyfriend Eric however I am still trying to figure out what the point is of him and if we will see him dying soon.

 

Yeah it seems like Eric is just there to be his boyfriend and nothing more. I'd like to see him get some development before being killed off in the future.

 

I wonder why they create characters to do nothing with. Truthfully if he wasn't in the show it would be the same right now.

 

Eric has the same plot from the comics - Aaron's b/f - and the driving tool behind he's fight with the Saviors.

 

I was about to ask what Eric's role was like in the comics. I stopped reading the comics a little before Aaron found the group.

 

TBH the same role he has now - Aaron's b/f. He does learn to fight like everyone else for the upcoming war, but

For just a second I thought the Savior's were gonna kill Aaron. Scurred me.

 

It was good to see an Aaron and Eric scene in S7 E9. Especially since their days together are most likely numbered.

 

It was nice to see Aaron and Eric together again. And Eric speaks! I would have liked to have seen a little more emotion between the two. I get that they were arguing, but a little more...something was needed in the scene.

 

Yeah I had a similar feeling as I watched. The scene seemed unfinished. Not sure if we will see another scene with the two of them alone or not.

 

You mean other than Eric's death scene?

 

Who knows how they will do that. Eric could be killed in ASZ while Aaron is out with the group. He never goes with the group so I don't even see the writers having them together when Eric dies. We'll see.
