Many people did. Not many people despite how bad ass they might be would get awesome deaths. Like Axel he was awesome and then blammo he's gone. At least Abraham got to give peace to Eugene.

 

Abrahams death was the biggest bummer for me. He was my favorite next to rick and I felt it was too soon but shit, it's TWD and that is what happens! I actually spoiled it for myself when I was reading some character info on TWD wiki and I was so Fing pissed at myself. When I was reading 98 I knew it was coming and I almost couldn't bring myself to turn the page haha. Dwight is going to have to do something pretty amazing for me for me to forgive him.

 

Same for all of this. I'll never forgive Dwight though!

 

Abraham seemed like a cool character, especially since they came to Alexandria. If I were him Eugene would have had a few missing teeth(at the least). I do think however that his untimely death and Glenn's was meant to show the ruthlessness of the Saviors. Neither had a fighting chance. I'm going to put Abraham's death entirely on Eugene though. Rick wouldn't have let them go like that, it would have been a full on expedition (probably complete with ninja escort).

 

I was mad about that as well but the more I thought about it, an arrow through the head and still carrying on a conversation is one of the most original deaths of the series which I can appreciate. The only thing that bugs me is that he didn't even know he died and didn't have a chance to defend himself. If there was a bit of a fight at first and perhaps the arrow happened while Abraham was giving Eugene some directions, that would have sat better with me. Whats done is done though, Eugene better get his ass in gear mass producing bullets and make it all worth it.

I liked Abraham, but I guess it made some room for Paul/Jesus to become Rick's new right-hand man, similar to how Abraham replaced Tyreese.

 

Agreed, although Rick-haters point to how Rick is somewhat of a bitch or something since he always has some tough guy around to be the muscle for him.

(I don't agree with that, mind you.)
