    Is Alden really justified in his jaded behavior towards Mary, or is he just kind of being an Aldhole?

    Definitely a little Aldhole but I get his anger. They decapitated his girlfriend :(

    I don't blame him. The first thing Rosita did was hit Mary. This has all been thrust upon him. She needs to prove herself. If he's still acting that way though after she stands with then in battle, then he has a serious problem.

    It seems reasonable. She was with the people that killed Enid. She has to prove herself.

    Alden should know much better. He was a Saviour before. He should be much easier to accept an ex-Whisperer Mary than anybody else could.

    Ohhhhh good point! I had forgotten that Alden was once upon a time a savior.

    But I still think in that moment he was justified in his reaction.

    NOW after that battle he better be singing a different tune!

    This is my general thinking as well. He's right to be caution with Mary for sure, but given his own history, his level of disdain towards members of the Whisperers who defect to our side is a bit clouded and fueled by Enid's head on a spike. Having said that, you can't really blame him.
