He has shown photos of Alexandria, where they have now just arrived.

 

I havent read the comics, i was wondering whether the place they have just arrived is like a holding area for as Aaron calls it the 'auditioning'
Maybe once accepted they move through to where the actual safe zone and community is

 

That would certainly explain why there doesn't seem to be any people.

 

I don't think there is a holding area and it's more of job placement if all holds true

Also, something I just thought of now... what if some of the group members don't pass the "audition"? They seem to be making a bigger deal of that than they did in the comics so now I'm curious- maybe most of the group passes it, but some of them don't? I wonder what Rick would do.

 

I think they will all pass the "auditions", but we are going to see some big trouble adapting to this lifestyle from our survivors who are still on edge and cautious all the time.

 

They are at the safe zone itself. They could hear kids playing inside, which is why Rick started to trust it.
