I have ran into people like Merle in every state I have ever been too...

 

I love Merle.. I don't care what his race, what his feelings on race or any other subject.. He has survived longer with one hand than many other characters!!! Yea I would want him on my good side!

 

I love Merle, he is flawed (VERY) but I enjoy his scenes, he is one of my favorites

Being from the southwest of England I should be used to backward, racist hillbilly types (if you're a Brit you'll get the obvious stereotype we're not all bad really!) but that guy is on another level!

I've been a victim of racism and spent all of my teen years and my early 20's fighting skinheads. Racisim is never funny.
