AMC's The Killing

    I never really was a TV show watcher or a person who watches TV in general. I've only been watching on AMC because they play some good movies and of course the best show, The Walking Dead. But I realize AMC has some pretty damn good shows. Mad Men doesn't interest me though, but they got a new show I believe the pilot is coming out April 3rd for the new show, The Killing. It's a mystery show about a girl named Rosie Larsen who was supposedly kiddnapped and possibly killed. Her dad seems to go on a hunt to find her. I really want to watch this actually. Unlike other investigation fiction shows, it seems like The Killing only follows one case/plot so this must be really interesting. Can't wait to see how this show works out and should keep me busy while I wait for season 3 of The Walking Dead.

    I hope there's a season 3, too. I'm not ready to let go of the character just yet.

    Well, ain't that a bitch. Still, I suppose the writing was on the wall. They tied up all loose ends and that was that. At least we got 2 decent seasons out of it.

    I never liked how the killing of Rosie wasn't resolved in season 1 and it should have instead of being dragged out the way it was.

    I liked the Killing. However, they should have wrapped up the Rosie case in Season 1 like they did on the Dutch version of the show. Season 2 should have a new case. Season 3, a new one. Last I heard was that Netflix and AMC are brokering a deal to get the killing back on. AMC and Netflix will share the cost of the show between them, and, Season 3 production should start in Feb if the deal is made.

    If this is true, then I hope that they will stick with a 1 case per season. It'll keep it fresh. :)

    I really like this show, I have to catch up season 2 though! I have started the Danish version, which is the original one but it's really the same story so.... I think the american version is very well done!
