Is there a way to have a supervisor or a department head address this issue in a more general sense, via email? I ask because.... I'll try to keep this brief. Ugh! We have a sales account manager, who's very unorganized and "half-asses" everything. He brings in a ton of sales, so we have to always walk this fine line with him. Because he makes us a lot of money and he's a good person in general. But if we get TOO up in his business, he starts to shut down. He's very sensitive. His support team has been complaining a lot about him lately due to his antics. They asked me to do something. They want him fired, but THAT'S not gonna happen. lol. So I basically had to send out an email to ALL of the sales account managers, reminding them of the "do's and don'ts" regarding how to run their projects. Sure, everyone KNOWS who I'm really talking to, but I'm publicly not singling anyone out or picking on them. Softens the blow a bit. Maybe that's worth considering in your situation?
Easiest solution. Find radio shows of Dr. Sue sex talk. Then play those loudly. After an hour approach your colleague and ask him if he thinks if Rush Limbagh applied some of Dr.'s Sues advice and incorporate them into his show, that he might get more listeners or people who may actually be interested.
True. This is only post 4, 629 but I like to keep up with the numerous funny and witty members here and what can I say, if it cracks me up I try to remember to give the smiley face cause applauding wouldn't well.....be the same....like talking to the tv or something... Don't mind our dear Mr. Jama, he was just pouting, lol
Hey @purriwinkle I just "Liked" your post, then I removed it.... then put it back. Just. Like. That. And you had no idea, did you?
No, I agree completely. It's not the Rush per se, it could be loud music. It just seems twice as bad *because* it's Rush. I know I have to do something, but will probably wait a few more days first, cluck cluck cluck.
I don't want to do anything that looks backstabby. When I can't take it I'll suck it up and do it "like a man". Hee hee, I'll probably wait a few more days first though.
Yah. The trouble is that with a bunch of professionals the administrators tend to be looked at with a certain reservation, to put it mildly, lol. Best to keep things internally. Probably.
No. Please. Don't. Don't get them started! Why did you go there? Let's stick to the ISSUE of the loud noise and why you should do something. That's an issue we can all agree on.
