I just wanted to add a bit of advice for Undead Freak and anyone else who didn't make it this time. It isn't easy to get chosen for a mod position on your first attempt. During my first attempt at becoming a mod, I failed to get picked seven times over a one year period before I finally got the position. It is never a good idea to just give up if you really want to do something. When I wasn't chosen the first time, I just kept putting in more effort until it happened and I would have continued doing it even if I was never chosen because for me it became more about doing things for the community than actually becoming a mod. Also, being a mod isn't always as much fun as you probably imagine. It can often be a thankless job and you will deal with angry people anytime you have to actually use your mod abilities.
