    I have no comic exposure and avoid all spoilers, but does anyone have any guesses?

    maybe one of carl's suggestions. or her name from the comics but I won't spoil it.

    Yeah... or at least read the ones up until where the show is if you really REALLY want to avoid any spoilers. Even having read the comics though, I still don't know what's going to happen half the time. (except when I find episode spoilers online...)

    Same here. Although Carl's several mentions of Sophia and Daryl seeing the hand with "Sophie" at the day care make me think they may change it to that for the tv series.

    Will probabaly be the comic name, albeit a little outdated as a name.. They may change it to modernize her name..

    If carol isn't found by the time they name her, then Sophie is a nice jesture..

    If they think carol is alive I wouldn't imagine they'd use sophie..

    I agree, the way they really hit us with the sophie name at the day care... (though i think that was done to show what is going on with daryl)

    I think Lori is aslo a possibility.

    or maybe Shaina ? you know, name the baby after her dad ... :p

    I don't think they will go with Sophia if they find, Carol. If they don't find Carol, who knows. While I don't really care if they keep the comic book name or not, I really will be miffed if they go with Hope. That would just be to cliche.

    If they used Sophia as a name for that newborn and carol comes back a little crazy , it might put her over the deep end think it is her own daughter, will make her permanently bonkers. ( I used to love that candy)

    Hope would be cliche but i could imagine it happening... The scene at day care seemed rather poignant so I could imagine Sofie as her name, too. Sofia would be very insensitive and I don't think Daryl would allow it as he seems to still hold a little hope for Carol's return imho.
