Anyone else think the first Sasha/Abe scene was "the afterlife"?

    I am watching 716 again (about 3rd time).
    And each time I struck with the fact that I think the writers/director wanted us to be confused for a second. When Sasha wakes up, kisses Abe, and they greet each other....there is a misty-ness and blue-ish filtering to the scene that doesn't initially indicate flashback...but "afterlife."

    Of course, a minute later when he states talking about Maggie we clue in to the fact it is earlier in the Day They Meet Negan.
    But I still get the impression we were purposely diverted for a moment.

    Anyone else notice this?

    (In other news: I CANNOT stop cracking up at Andrew Lincoln's reaction shot to "I will lay with him." It is just soooo "oohhhhh f*** is she about to slice her head off?")

    And as cliche as the whole scene is...I can't watch King Ezekial come blazing with "Alexandria will not fall on this day!" without instantly thinking, "DAMN that is cool!"

    This episode is directed like a movie for 3/4ths of it.
    I don't follow who directs what...has the director of this episode done any others?

    PICKY-NESS ALERT:
    JDM's beard is about a day's growth shorter in the scene back at the Sanctuary. I doubt he would have done a trim in the truck on the way back.

    (I am not staring too hard at JDM...I am not staring too hard at JDM...)

    I thought it was in her mind, but I thought the flashback scene was going to become a sex scene, given the fact that Sasha full on looked like she was rubbing one out in the coffin.

    The thought crossed my mind that she was having the same type of hallucination that Tyreese had as he passed away, but then like you said I got it when they started talking about Maggie.

    How many times have we used this gif? I think we can claim dual ownership if we implement the "nanner nanner boo boo I used it before you on multiple occasions" clause of the general forum usage and ownership rules, regulations, standards and practices agreement article XVI paragraph 867. Look it up would you?

    And WTF???? Why the hell does this shite scroll up when I am trying to type out a serious post here?????

    It is seriously THE BEST laughing gif out there. I will use the copyright symbol with Dnae after it. :p I would look it up dear, but I left my reading glasses at home. ;)

    AND OMG finally someone that has the same problem I do! It snaps you back up to the video advertisement that 9 times out of 10 is a whataburger ad and makes me wanna goooooo!
