Anyone else tired of seeing Negan in his office?

    What is up with this? Most of this season and his scenes take place in that freaking office. It's getting weird, and annoying at this point. Reason for it? Writers too lazy, cheap budget, or is he thinking? Season 7 we saw Negan all over the place and that was during "downtime" now it's the middle of a war and he's just hanging out in his office and talking. I guess that's a prime mascot example of troubles and problems of Season 8.

    It'll be nice seeing him in action getting out of there in coming episodes and I hope that office is GONE after this episode.

    OR you know what? What if it's actually deliberate foreshadowing of us seeing Negan spending a lot of time in a small room because he's about to get captured and thrown in the cell? Could the writers be that clever? Is it possible.....?

    I'm enjoying it because we see the real Negan more in there. His theatrics are out the window and we see Scary Negan. :D

    I have liked how Negan's character has been a little less cartoonish lately

    Yeah I agree the scenes are great, the dialogue is fine, JDMs acting is always exceptional and I especially enjoy the tension with Simon and the scenes in 8x05 were really good. Its just that this is supposed to be a war and I find it odd that for a large chunk of it we're seeing Negan sitting in an office.

    Don’t wanna see him in the dunny tho.

    I think the change of places to Rick, The Widow Maggie and the King is scenic and symbolic.

    Negan is more and more in his "throneroom" while the others grow strong from bad times and are active. The trailer sorta shows the change of places f or Rick and Negan. Rick growing the old crazy beard, Negan shaving. The places are switched, Now Rick is the warlord and Negan is the king grasping to hold on to his land as a "barbarian", he himself made, is lashing out and crushing his kingdom part by part.

    As Simon said in the trailer, these do not scare, The Saviours never met another group of this magnitude.

    I never really thought about it until you mentioned it, but he is there a lot. Guess that's what head honcho's do, though.

    It's not like he really has much else to do. He can't just go down to the local pub and get a sammich and beer.

    I thought I saw a sneak peek of the next episode and he was drag racing or something. That will be a hoot to see.
