Hey ho, better late than never. I watched at 1.30. One thing I liked about this episode was that we finally had some discussion about what Eugene knows. Gimple must have been reading my posts whinging that no-one had shown the least curiosity about the fact that Eugene apparently has a cure for the virus.

Yes he was very comic Rick tonight and Carol is what I envisage as comic Andrea.

From what I understood it's more of a weapon than a cure.

I was wondering that too! I thought maybe it was some Terminus survivors, but that wouldn't make much sense.

What would be the point of Rick putting them there? It couldn't be Rick who carved them.

Unless it's directions to Father Gabriel's church?

Someone in another thread said, the mark on the tree was the same as one of the tattoos, freaky rapist shipping container guy had on his face.

Totally agree with this post! Rick was exactly the way he was at this point in the comics, and Carol's inner comic Andrea came out.

Okay so can we all agree that the TV version of "comic Andrea" is "Bitch Carol"?

    omg.... What an episode!

now going to read back over your comments in this Aussie thread.

One thing I'm certain of. There is going to be some serious girl power this season . Carol was awesome.

Loved the fact that Sasha just point blank demands an answer from him.

Thought that too! I was watching Eugene like a hawk throughout this episode. :zombies_rolleyes:

Yeah I really felt like he's come to a point where, IF he's telling a lie... He's realizing it's not worth it to put a guy and his kids, especially a baby, at risk.

i was getting a maternal vibe as well...from what I could see in between my happy tears during that reunion scene in the forest.

This episode was hard core gruesome with wads of feels thrown in.

And.... Morgan. That surprise at the end just capped the episode off for me. What a ride.

I hope they not giving her all this awesomeness and then kill her off in a few episodes... I'll be really annoyed if that happens.

It's just hard to get a good read on him.. Even in the comic. He has moments of pure genius combined with moment that leave you wondering if he's sabotaging his mission to DC..
