This thread is all about that one song that you've heard (any genre) that you NEVER get sick of (even if you've heard or HAD to listen to it for a zillion times...so that leaves out Madonna's "Material Girl" as I still can't listen to it one time all the way thru!!!).
Being from a metal background personally, there is a surprising lack of these type tunes out there...sure there are ones that might have a great vocal but shitty guitar solo (Cult of Personality for example) that keeps it from being ""perfect".

With all that mumbo jumbo intro said and done, I'm cutting to the chase now...here is my 1st song that I feel is "perfect":
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_qZ5B-yioU&playnext=1&list=PLCB71A7DB87C56A5C&feature=results_main

I friggin' love the video too, because it SO captures all the F'D up BS that chicks say to guys when they are giving them their psycho babble lines...

Yeah, I can't think of a single song that is impossible to play out. Everything needs a rest eventually.

    Not a fair question. :zombies_lol:

The song of undead brains getting bashed out the back of their skull from a sledgehammer while my fellow survivors protect me from a distance shooting with the melodious tone of a thousand hornets buzzing the song of a million hums at once.

Don't Stop Believing - Journey. I have heard the Glee version and it actually works. That song just doesn't seem to get tired and stands the test of time. Works on so many levels. With the exception of a spin class.

Has Journey EVER written a song that DIDN'T make them a Quadrillion bucks?? Steve Perry is amazing! When I was living in NYC, the singer that replaced Perry used to come in to buy little odds and ends in the music store and the other peeps in the store would go all gaga and run up to him and bug him like little retards. I always hoped he would get pissed and just leave and NOT buy anything...

There're are quite a few songs I can listen to over and over again without them getting old. I could come to this thread every day and post something different. Anything by PEARL JAM, TOOL, THE DOORS, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, QUEEN, JACKYL, JOHNNY CASH.....the list goes on and on.

By all means plz do so...that's what this thread is all about! There are no time, posting, or space limits so go ahead and feel free to spam if you so wish. But please no wagering...

BTW...here is a 2nd song I find "perfect" and never get sick of hearing it (unlike anything by Weird Al, where I'd sooner puncture my eardrums than sit thru his "parodies" of tunes)...

I haven't been listening to the stuff that I normally do. So you will have to forgive my song choice. Magic - Olivia Newton- John. I never get tired of hearing that one. But then Xanadu is a favorite film of mine as well as the soundtrack.

What's to forgive? We all like what we like, and Olivia Newton John has a nice singing voice. I thought she was good in GREASE.

As long as you didn't say "Anything from the William Shatner album" then all is well...

Thank goodness Freddie is in a much better place now...he would no doubt step in front of a bus if he had lived to hear Capt. Kirk mangle his masterpiece like this!

    I don't think I could pick a particular song.

However, I do want "Hip Hug Her" by Booker T And The MG's played at my funeral, so maybe that one.
