Unfortunately we're going to have to wait until 2020 for Season 5.
It feels like it's been forever but we finally have a premiere date for the next season. It'll be Sunday 2/23 and then we'll have a second episode on Monday 2/24 which will be its regular time slot.
Dammit, I need to watch last season. LOL
It was a good season.
So y'all have told me. I don't know what happened but I just couldn't get into it. Maybe now.
I sort of lost interest after season 3. I'm not sure why though. I guess I was interested because I am a mega BB fan, so the references and the foreshadowing and all that was cool. That feeling didn't hold for long though.
The show isn't bad, but Saul was a supporting character on BB and he was amazing as such. I'm just not feeling the same way about him as a main character.
I'll wait on the sidelines for the show to finish and then I'll watch all of it. Maybe I'll change my mind.
Eat pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving or ... squat cobbler?
It's been so long that I need to rewatch the last episode before this new season starts.
What I usually do in these cases he read the short wiki summaries for each episode from the last season, and then actually watch the last season finale. Then I'm ready.
One month to go.
We have the TWD and Saul premieres on the same night.
Ugh. I need to catch up.
Also learned that next season, which will be # 6 will be Better Call Saul's last. They are going to wrap up the series in 2021.
We get someone else significant from the Breaking Bad universe debuting on Saul. If you don't want to know who, then don't watch this one.
Solid episode I thought. Good to see Ed the Disappearer back for one last scene. Next episode tonight
I noticed the Gene story was more involved this week.
Yeah me too. I bet it gets more screen time this season, based on what we saw.
Yes, it was left off at an interesting point too with him looking to take care of it himself.
Good first episode. I haven't had time to see the second one yet.
I've watched the second episode now too. What I found most interesting was Howard wanting to have lunch with Saul. Maybe he's into something sketchy.
I'd really like to see Nacho's story end well. He's a somewhat sympathetic figure, like Jesse was in Breaking Bad. But I don't see it happening.
This season is good. The writing remains as strong as ever and the actors are all doing an incredible job. But I thought the pacing would pick up this year. Next season is the last one, I expected a bit more urgency to the story. As a standalone season it's great, but within the context of the entire series it feels like it should be in high gear now.
