My BF mentioned watching this the other day. I need to. I'm still trying to get through the seasons of Black Sails I bought at the BF Walfart sale.

 

Woohoo another season coming.

 

Ummm I have no clue what this is

 

It’s a really dark very good Netflix show.

 

I've found this episode really exciting. Enjoyed the novelty factor of its interactive nature, and the way it has gotten our whole family talking our way through the experience.

At the heart of the episode is Colin's little speech about us all being trapped like PacMan, where completion of a maze only lead to having to deal with another one. Constantly consuming, chased by demons, forever running round in circles, trapped. Do we have a choice?

The episode is continuously asking the question about whether we indeed have free choice in anything we do, or are we constantly controlled by someone, something...

A thought provoking enjoyable experience, all in all. But was it my favourite Black Mirror episode? Far from it. Would I want to watch another interactive episode? Most definitely. I liked the idea of it. Quite possibly I like the idea of it more than I liked the execution of it. But as a first, it certainly has shown a lot of potential.

 

Black Mirror is utterly brilliant and thought provoking. Some of the episodes are phenomenal. Season 4 was fantastic throughout. From previous seasons, my favourites are San Junipero, The Entire History Of You, Be Right Back, Nosedive and White Christmas. All episodes are stand alone episodes, so you can just pick and choose. It's the kinda lucky dip when you can't really lose.

 

Three new episodes out on 5 June, can't wait.
Nearly 3 million hits on the trailer in 24 hours. Wow.
