Anyone notice that the same bloody eyes zombie was in the opening scene, than again towards the end? Why was Rick looking at it so much?

Because it was unusual. It's someone who died from the illness that the kid died from. Plus it was Rick noticing the sick pig, so it all ties together.

It's eyes are pretty strange whick Rick is unfamiliar with and I think if he ever sees Patrick's face, he could link up and related to and find out somethng's wrong with it.

"Why was Rick looking at it so much?"

Well....that's kind of the point, isn't it? To raise questions? Just like the water, dead animals, gun in the soil, etc. It was intentionally meant to catch your attention.

Walker at the fence and Patrick's eyes

Likely discussed and I just haven't seen it yet; but did everyone else also notice a walker shown at least twice at the fence with bleeding eyes? Will we get to see Violet the pigs eyes and see the same thing?

    Bleeding eye walker?

I couldn't help but notice the super scary bleeding eye zombie, the one Rick kept staring at. He totally freaked me out. I also noticed no other zombie looked like he does /: It wasn't until the end of the episode when Patricks dies that I see any more bleeding eyes..... hmmmmmmm, connection maybe?

Totally freaked my shit. I didn't like him not one bit, but I'm wondering if he has some kind of "new" infection & if what happened to Patrick happened to ole bleeding eyes out there.

    From Scott Gimple
Some of the zombies now appear to have been bleeding from their eyes, which we see when Patrick dies. Is it safe to say this flu is impacting other survivors beyond the prison and they're turning as well?
It is safe to say Patrick died of what ever that was. The walker that was at the fence that we saw was rather fresh; he's not very rotted. I would intuit that because it's a fresh zombie, that the person who died recently was by the same method Patrick died.
This is one of the new threats you've been talking about since Comic-Con. How will we see the group navigate this new threat in their pseudo-safe prison?
That's the trick. In refugee situations, when people are in close contact like that, bad things health-wise have usually happened. In a third-world situation like this, the effects can be even worse. If that zombie died of the same thing that Patrick did, and Patrick said he was feeling ill, that would mean you'd want to stay away from those zombies as well. So standing up against the fence and smashing and stabbing them in the face, there's a great deal of blood flying everywhere. It's very bad news and presents potentially a very difficult situation beyond the simple difficulty of being around other people, which you have to be.
So it's a virus that travels via blood?
I'm not saying that, but if someone is sick with any sort of communicable disease, any bodily fluid is bad news. But there were also a couple of dead pigs in this episode, which also might have something to do with it.

Were Patrick's eyes bleeding? I remember blood all over his nose and mouth, I don't remember it on his eyes. I'll have to watch it again. And is your name Daryl Buttcheeks?

I think Patrick's eyes bleeding is open to interpretation. It was probably de-emphisized so at to not given away the connection. I remember reading somewhere that screen time would be given to a small item in which the significance of wouldn't dawn on the viewers until the end of the second episode. It's likely the bleeding eyes / illness.

Yes, Scott Gimple confirmed in an interview the zombie died of the same illness as Patrick

I believe if/when Rick sees Patrick, he may establish a connection between Patrick and that walker and realize something's wrong.
