The thing that bothers me about Terminus is how there are NO walkers anywhere around it, even though it was in Atlanta, whereas at the prison which is in the middle of nowhere there were walkers climbing on the fences every single day. Now assuming that walkers aren't magically avoiding Terminus, someone is clearing them from the fences daily, and since Rick and Co. couldn't do that with what, 30 or 40 people, there must be a considerable number of people at Terminus to do this work. And where are all the zombie *bodies* going? There could be a huge pile of them that they cart away to make the place look "safe", but wouldn't it be more... efficient... if they were eating them instead?

Why can't the Terminus people be eating walkers instead of people? Do we know their meat is poisonous to people since everyone is infected with the walker substance anyways?

Well, walker bites are fatal beyond a percentage we would expect from a normal bite with common bacteria, even without antibiotics. It would make sense that when a person dies, the 'walker virus' mutates to a form that crosses the blood-brain barrier. When you're bitten, this mutated form may enter your system, killing you. So, it depends on what this 'virus' is. Many pathogens, such as prions, require a much higher than normal cooking temperature to fully denature them. Aside from that, even common bacteria associated with disease and rotting can create spores which can be deadly, and which may not be neutralized by normal grill cooking temperatures. Either way, its a bad idea to eat fully rotten meat.

well, it would be silly to think the walking dead universe follows anything like logical rules. sure the writers could go in a direction like this if they can find a way to pitch it so people believe it.

another possibility is that they're keeping a lot of walkers at Terminus and this is causing "wild" walkers to avoid the place the same way they'll ignore you if you smear their grue all over you.

This subject is not senseless. I don't believe they're eating walkers in Terminus :) BUT...

    Just look at Mary

She looks like the wolf disguised as the grandma. I don't trust her! :)

And what we know about all TWD fortresses / hideouts shown so far?

    Atlanta - trap
    Campsite - trap
    CDC - trap
    Farm - trap
    Prison - trap
    Woodbury - trap
    Terminus - ?

Maybe they feed walker to the survivors that show up, to make them sick and easier to kill?

of course you can eat a walker, is as easy as trap one and grill it with some cummin and spices, now, if thats gonna taste good/be healthy (for the cannibals ofc xD) i seriously doubt it

The campsite, the farm, and the prison weren't traps in the sense that something sinister was going on internally. They just got overrun by walkers eventually, which can happen to most places. Similar with Atlanta, the safe haven there just didn't exist any more. But i'd be surprised if something suspicious wasn't going down at Terminus. Maybe it will be a mixture of decent and evil people, with a bit of Joe's group thrown into the batter soon.

Sure, my remark is just a generalization. I was going to say that every place is doomed, sooner or later. Well, it's a finale countdown. There is no time :) So it has to be intense and evil, probably :)
