    So like, are the writers going to put that chemistry between Carl and Enid again or are we just going to leave that stuff behind?

    I mean, a lot of people seem to not like the idea of them together. Do you think the writers will listen to them and just make them friends? Or will they go back to what they had started in season 5/6? I just feel as though it'd be strange of them to not continue that romantic plot. It'd be like, "Hey, I know I tried to make some moves on you before but I'm not actually interested."

    What are your thoughts? Apart from your opinion on whether you like the idea of Carl and Enid together or not (though please feel free to share), what do you think the writers will do? If they decide for Carl and Enid to just be friends, how will they take back what they started in the previous seasons? And if they do get together, will it be this episode?

    I would like to see them become a thing. At this point, let's see Carl with a girlfriend and how he will always try to protect her. Bonus points to Enid bc she can handle herself and not always terrified or helpless.

    Yeah, the writers kind of backed off that story line with these two, but I am leaning towards them being a couple sometime this season.

    I think Enid is there to replace Sophia. There will be a bond between them, and romance will lurk just underneath the surface, and Enid will at times be his ground, when Carl is struggling with ZA angst, and maybe a love triangle will form when Lydia arrives. If we're lucky enough to make it that far. ;)

    I don't want a relationship between the two. But, at this point replacement Sophia will get what she wants. Carl does need more friends his own age - maybe he'll be lucky at the Hilltop

    I think some of last season was to cause friction with "son of porchdick" But who knows, I'd be ok with it. Maybe he'll show her his one eyed.....ummmm nevermind. :zombies_censored:

    Thank you GOD!! There are already too many babies in this show. It's a zombie flick for crying out loud! Doesn't matter tho, Carl wouldn't know what to do with a girl unless she bit him. Poor kid.

    I'm cool with Carl having a girlfriend. The kid can use some companionship besides Michonne and his baby sister. Lord knows he'll never get back a normal childhood. I just hope they don't show them in a sex scene. Give that a couple more years.

    I think Carl and Enid will have a relationship. Whether it is a romantic one or just a deep friendship I'm not sure. Either way I look forward to seeing how their story together develops.
