Actually they could totally just make suppressors on their own with soda bottles. Here's a video of a marlin .22:

A real suppressor actually helps stabilize the recoil of a gun, eliminates muzzle flash too though. A bottle just stops the sound a bit, which would help but it would make the gun impossible to holster.

I wondered what that thing was. It does seem they would all have them though- noise from a gun has gotten them in trouble more than once.

 

I never said they couldn't.

Just saying that there would be no point going through the trouble of hunting down actual, manufactured, professional suppressors when they can just make them thererselves and still get nice results.

 

not that i've ever worked at one but i don't quite see a prison having those in its armory.
