I could definitely get on board with that theory, that it was a Whisperer and not a walker. Just because I don’t want Carl off the show. But that would be just odd, a human biting another human??? Anyway, I guess we shall see....

 

Carl is dying. He has confirmed it, his father has confirmed it, Gimple has confirmed it.

He will not survive.

 

Having them find out he was bit by a whisperer would mean they will actually wait to see if he turns rather than put him down ahead of time, which they wouldn't do.

 

But if he was bit by a whisperer he would maybe miraculously recover. In any event, those were rotting walkers he was fighting.
