Rick already promised Sam he would get him a batch of cookies. So it won't seem strange.

 

But Carol was the last in the chocolate, remember Olivia had her get it herself? So I wouldn't be surprised if she is all apologetic and returns it herself and fesses' up, which makes her look really honest, then she locks the window while she's there.

 

She made them for the party.

Carol said she would "make it work."

 

Get them caught as what? All they are doing is self-protecting.

 

I suspect that any dishonesty of Carol's will pale into insignificance in comparison to the dishonesty by omission that is obviously being committed by Deanna.

 

The truth will come out but Carol won't face heavy consequences.

 

And all because of some stupid 1/4 piece of chocolate....

 

I don't think the Alexandrians are worrying about Carol stealing some chocolate but I don't think they are fooled by her little charade either. I think Deanna knows exactly what she's up against as far as Carol. It only makes sense if Reg knew everything about Rick from the taped interviews and how people were praising Rick then don't you think those same people were praising Carol for her valiant behavior at Terminus? Deanna is letting it play out, I think she knows all about Carol.

 

I think she took it so that if she was caught, seen, or questioned she'd have a reason/excuse for being in there. She probably sacrificed herself a bit because it will be noticed. She may think the consequence for taking a piece of chocolate is mild but she might be surprised.

 

Pray tell?

 

I heard someone else mention that maybe she did this on purpose as an excuse of why she was in there. If little Sam tattles on her, or someone else saw her, she can just say she was stealing some chocolate for some more cookies for everyone.

 

Judging from the looks of Olivia...Carol is not the only one raiding the pantry....:zombies_lol:

I really think if the walls fall under the pressure of a herd or the wolves busts in and steals from them the chocolate count will be forgotten about.
Perhaps something gets said just before an event and Carol throws Olivia to the walkers/wolves to keep the cover-up going
Perhaps Olivia is accused of stealing the chocolate and Carol has a tough decision to make if she admits it or lets Olivia take the fall.

 

Carol took the chocolate on purpose it incriminate the chubby keeper of the vault. Oh gosh who would eat the chocolate me or the fat chick. Now sweet Carol becomes dungeon master.
