    It's been mentioned around the forum but I thought it deserved its own thread. Some aren't a fan of how it looks but I really like what it represents. To me she seems free and secure. I just saw a comment on Facebook that also made a really good point:

    "Her long hair is a sign of security. When her first husband used to beat her, she cut off her hair so he couldn't drag her with it. She feels safe enough with the King, she doesn't have to protect herself from him. It's a real thing, real women do."

    Say what you will about how it looks, I love her new do'.

    She should at least braid it or something when she leaves The Kingdom.

    I think it looks fine on her. Another change from 6 years ago to define the changes.

    I want it in comic Denise bun or something lol. I’ll get used to her hair. So used to seeing Carol/MMB with short hair (ever since I saw her in the 2007 movie The Mist)

    I'm not a fan. The scene with her in her nightgown made it look like she was in a commercial for a medic alert bracelet. It's also not at all practical outside of the security of the Kingdom perimeter.

    I suspect we'll see another transformation at some point. I can't imagine they'll keep this look forever.

    I liked it only because it almost was shocking when she killed the saviors. It was like we were introduced to a sweeter, calmer version of Carol. The woman she always wanted to be when she was with Ed.

    And there she goes, burning people alive.....again. it was such a cool "Carol isn't going anywhere" moment.

    Nah, bad ass Carol has short hair. This looks too grandma-ish to me.

    I forgot to add “everyone but NakedCity, what do you think?” Oh well.

    :p Kidding.

    It’s interesting to me that a few have said it looks grandma-ish because most elderly women go short for some reason. I rarely see grandma’s with long flowing hair like this.

    @Neuropyramidal, I can't see the image.

    My brand new next-door neighbor is a Walking Dead fan! She told me she was watching the last episode and when she saw new Carol she was distracted thinking who did Carol remind her of...? Then she remembered--ME! LOL I felt so honored. LOL Neighbor also said I laugh often enough that it is like living next to Mrs. Claus. HAHAHAHA .:D:D:D

    My hair is exactly that length, but the calmer conditioned look, and I don't think it would be any trouble at all in the apocalypse. I don't think it makes her hair any more vulnerable to a zombie grab than Zeke's hair. I do braid mine in the miserable heat of summer, and that would make sense for Carol in Georgia, too. Maybe they don't want her new hair look to be that reflective of Zeke. Really, braids would be more dangerous. Walker fingers might slide right on through long hair that is loose.

    And P.S., even though my neighbor and my friends and the DMV all think my hair is grey, I still insist it is brown with a bit of grey. Is so. :D
