If you do this routinely you should google "Locks of Love". These folks take the hair they get and make it into wigs for cancer patients, etc. In many places cancer societies will have yearly drives for this, and beauty shops donate their time to cut the hair etc.

Kind of a good deed that you'd otherwise do anyway!

^ this. The only 'change' I would have made is having Carols hair turn grey over from the second to third season. And only to give a subliminal clue to how stressful life in a ZPAW is.

 

Me too, I think she does it really well and as someone said here, she's got to be a lot cooler on the set under that hot Georgia sun. At least she doesn't have a thick wad of hair hanging down her neck. If I were down there, I would LIVE in a ponytail.

I too assumed that they had gotten hold of some scissors. In fact, that would be a mandatory haircut if I was a woman during an apocalypse, especially when zombies are constantly grabbing for you. It makes sense that Lori, the most stupidly ridiculous character on the show, would be the one to run around like Cher with not so much as a scrunchie or banana clip or topsy tail or something. What do you expect from someone who is not only thoughtlessly irresponsible enough to get knocked up during all of this.....but she doesn't even know which guy emptied his barrel into her. smh

But none of that explains how Andrea still manages full makeup and a great looking perm.............Or why T-Dog wasn't starting to look like Lenny Kravitz. lol Whatta you gonna do?

I'm sure the group have come across varies shavers and hairdressing scissors (or any scissors for that matter) while they have been raiding houses for supplies, at that what I assume (didn't really think about it until this thread lol). As for their hair and skin looking great at the time...I just let it slide, I don't think a lot of the audience would want to look at a bunch of spotty, greasy, ugly looking survivors lol (not that it would matter in the zombie apocalypse).

 

This. I would like to see what it looked like longer, and maybe Daryl would like that, but I think he'd like her no matter what. It's their history together that makes them great.
