Can anyone explain what he meant about having to clear?

I am not sure. I think he meant kill all the walkers there.

Good post, was about to do this. Here is my guess.

Since Morgan did not have the power to kill his wife, and that in the end killed his son, he now feels compelled to "Clear". I think that means keep on killing zombies. He had the map on the chalk board, and all the traps that would "catch" zombies.

He wants to kill them all.

Yeah what I got from him "Clearing" was just him staying there and killing (and then clearing the area of corpses) zombies with his traps.

While he had Rick pinned down, he said something along the lines of "nobody clears, they all turn."

    Perhaps clear = cured?

As Rick, Carl and Michonne left town, I noticed Morgan in a field doing CPR on a dead walker he placed atop a gurney.

I guess in Morgan's psychosis, he's trying to save people through CPR or a defibrillator; that would explain the "Clear" statements, until he gives up and moves on to the next corpse.

"Clearing" is Morgan dealing with his guilt about being weak in his eyes and not being able to kill his walker wife. It ultimately lead to his son's death.

It's his penance for what he perceives was his failure His weakness.

I took it as meaning he was too weak to do what needed to be done with his wife and he paid the highest price for that mistake by his wife attacking & turning Duane.

Now he feels it's his job to clear out all the walkers he can as the penance he needs to pay for his inability to do what needed to be done..

I'm guessing CLEAR means that he has to get rid of all the walkers, it's part of his survival... but I wonder why on the walls he has statements on how people die, with their names and then wrote CLEAR on top of it. Was he testing or experimenting in some way? It said something of fire after knife wound...
    "Sick after blood cover"..

It looked like Morgan was doing chest compressions on the walker. He had it on a gurney.

emergency personnel use defibrillators, they always shout "clear" to prevent getting shocked themselves. Maybe to Morgan, getting "Clear" is avoid getting bit.

The gurney was Morgans way of getting the bodies there to the field/opening to burn them. He's not doing CPR on dead walker bodies! lol He's unhooking them from the gurney so he can burn them.

Also, crazy morgan finding a cure? lol No. "Clear" as in him killing as many walkers as he can. Just his way of dealing with the fact that the one walker he couldnt bring himself to kill, his wife, is the reason his son is dead.

Yeah, this is the answer. He was using the gurney for transport to burn them.

No he was getting ready to burn them, there were a few strapped on the gurnee.
