I saw thing thing on the internet a few days ago, it was an adapter so you can use a mouse and keyboard on a console. Apparently if you tell anyone that's what you're doing they get mad and shout that you're cheating...

Yeah I've seen those. I've heard the higher-ups don't condone letting on that youre using that, but it's a don't ask don't telI thing.

I was following a guy on twitch using a mouse and a PS3 wand on CoD 4. I think he was on PC but I was amused none the less.

Seriously, if you used a console controller on PC and told everyone, they'd all laugh at you and call you an idiot for using controls that are so awful in comparison.

Okay, here we go. First of all, no need for sarcasm. It's not 2004, it's 2014, so get that out of your head. PC fanboys and console fanboys are disgusting. When you start basing your fact on something that's not relevant, that's when I get mad. Yes, you can use an Xbox controller on Windows, who knew? And oh, I am so sorry about you using an actual *gasp* disc! Do you see the dripping sarcasm right now? I'm just kidding. If I'm lazy because I don't bother to buy an Xbox controller and plug into my PC and play, well then you're too lazy to go and buy an actual disc for a console. Case in point, many of the digital games are good and some even great. However, the exclusives is what draws me to the console side. So, for the love of God, use whatever sarcasm you'd like, just base it on something you know, good. Don't take this the wrong way, take it as a way of me explaining to you what I meant and addressing your obvious sarcasm.

And it's not like I don't like PC. I have a PC and my main games are on there. On my first post, I said that the PC has better functions than a console, I just like the ease of a console more than the PC. Jeez.

What the ****ing hell are you talking about? If all that draws you to a console is a few exclusives then you have way too much money (to be buying an entire console for a few games).

And, the problem with discs isn't just that they're physical media, a standard DVD holds 4.7GB[1], and a single layer blu ray disc is 25GB[2], while an HD DVD (single layer) can hold 15GB[3]. The new wolfenstien game is 40GB[4].

Even a smaller game like watch dogs, is 20GB[5], which would require a dual layer HD DVD.

There's also the possibility of damaging physical media. If I scratch the disc, while it's entirely my own fault, I have still lost the game. With a download, even if I throw my PC into a lake, I can just log into my account on any PC and download the game again for free.

PC does work with every controller[6], and PC is cheaper. For $440 you can get a 500GB PS4[7], and for $460 you can get a better PC with a 1TB hard drive[8].

New consoles seem to run most games at 30FPS, while most PCs can run at 60FPS (and yes, you can tell the difference [9]).

    • Cheaper games (Steam, GOG, Humble Bundle)
    • Better-rated games (by metascore)
    • More exclusive games
    • Healthy independent developer scene
    • Tons of free and free-to-play games
    • Free abandonware titles
    • Larger game library, ten-fold

I find COD being more enjoyable on consoles than the PC. The PC community is pretty crappy in my opinion. But I've heard a lot about how crappy the console community is. You know what.. COD community sucks in general, there are only a few nice people here and there

I have always found Call Of Duty games to ru and perform better on PC than any other [platform. It stands true for any first person shooter I have played. I just can;t play FPS games with controllers. So PC is the only way to go.

The PC community isn't as big, but I don't think it needs to be as big. You really don't need to talk to 16384 people at a time...
