Convoy (1978) vs. Walking Dead

    And now for something completely different!
    I know this is totally random (but is it?) and many might be too young or not remember....but:

    There have been some similarities between this episode of TWD and the (great great) movie Convoy from 1978.

    Bearded, masculine Alpha Male in the lead? Check!
    One last battle with the enemy on a bridge? Check!
    Going down in an explosion, presumably dead? Check!
    Still getting away and alive at the end? Check!
