Damn, she really is dead.

    I don't trust strand Alicia or Luciana any farther then I can throw them. BUT a whole episode about John and "Laura" AKA Naomi.... She dead. A whole flashback episode is more damning then characters in the show saying she is dead. It'll be a bummer if John walks to the baseball diamond, saves her (cause they lied about her being dead), only to discover she's bit, or ganna die anyway from her wounds or an injury. Bad things happen to good people in zombieland FACT.

    P.S. If John dies saving/trying to save Naomi, i'm out.

    Noooo they will reunite! They must.

    I'm sure everyone else realized this already but when John had his opening scene in episode 1 he said it had been a year since he spoke with anyone. So it had been a year since she left and he was still looking.

    They wanted us to think Glen was dead (dumpster dive scene).... FTWD has not been as predictable as TWD, so who knows.

    Yeah, these show writers have never given a flashback about a characters backstory in the episode before, or on the episode they die on... Never happens.

    Yeeeeaaaaahhhhhh but why would they give a flashbacky backstory episode to a minor character who's only ever appeared in flashbacks and has already died? lol

    She ain't dead.

    I agree, but it might just have been a back story episode for John and Laura's only purpose was to give context to his character.

    I assume she's alive for one reason.

    Maybe she appears to John like lori to rick? which is why shes still on the set. idk we'll see soon enough

    Maybe john dies saving her and she joins the regular cast (the back story could be for the viewers to understand the type of guy john is and their strong bond). Maybe they go there and Lauras dead and john weeps his eyes out (backstory makes that scene more digestible). Or option C, they go to the diamond and dont see a trace of her (but commmme on, we know she or he is dead, its zombie world)
