They way those walkers were going after that road sign balloon in the opening scene, I think we have a new way of distracting them. ;)

They seem to almost be getting desperate, they attack anything that moves... Except Glenn and Tara in a cage, of course...

I'm running out to the supply store right now to stock up on balloons in preparation for a ZA. Plus Led Zeppelin's and Barrage Blimps.

I'll give them a pass on that since there were so many dead people on the ground and some fires burning. It was a little distracting even for a walker.

When the ZA happens, I am finding some of these and putting them all around, to keep my fort safe.

I thought it was done on purpose before the camera zoomed out.

Yep, like the interesting bicycle wheel art installation that they had at the prison near the pump.

That reminds me, do zombies starve out on the walking dead?

They'll eventually become sedentary (like the scene in the bar, when all the walkers are just kind of sitting around because of a lack of "food") and they'll eventually totally decompose anyway, just more slowly than the typical corpse.

If my memory serves me right, Romero zombies take about 2-3 years to decompose hence you would expect things to get easier if you manage to survive that long. Of course you will still get 'fresh' ones from living people turning but quantities should be much lower.

Oh my goodness, I laughed so hard when the camera panned out. Ditto at Michonne filling her mouth with cheese whiz and pretending to be a walker. TWD has a great sense of humor sometimes.

There was a balloon in this episode? Where was it?
