Did Rick's Group just pull a Shane with Cabin guy?

    Any else think that was kind of Cold what they did with the Cabin guy? I understand why they did it, it was either him or them. Either he dies or they all die. But still they should of at least put an arrow or something through his head first, instead of just stabbing him in the back.

    It reminded me of Shane and Otis. Rick seemed to be the one whose idea it was to throw him out after Michonne stabbed him... And I doubt that stab wound killed him...

    Well they made it seem like he was dead. Plus he was a lunatic anyways. 1 crazy guy saves 4 people. Put it in the paper he's a hero! Haha

    She stabbed him but the whole group dragged his body out there, they were all in it.

    They basically did that wacko a favor. Sitting in his cabin with his dead dog acting like the world isn't populated by walking dead...how did that guy make it this long??

    It was either kill him or let him open the door, letting the walkers in. As cold as it sounds, I think they did the right thing. It's not like he was listening to reason since he had gone mad.

    Yea he was bonkers...what were they suppsed to do? Warm him some milk and sing lullabyes until he calmed down? Lol

    He would have been a liability - a crazy injured guy would be hell for them to try to take with them... But actually throwing him out the door to be eaten alive seemed pretty harsh. I'm not saying I wouldn't have done the same thing, but it seems Rick can get away with things like this while Shane can't... Shane does something and he's a villain. Rick does the same thing, and he's just being smart.

    PS: With all the battles going on, I've never missed Shane more.

    Rick & Co could use his elite skills ;(

    It was the only thing they could do. They couldn't reason with him and he put everyone in danger.

    Michonne only did what needed to be done. They tried the nice way, but it got them nowhere.

    Shane kills Otis (who was a liability) and leaves him for walkers, the man could barely keep up with Shane who had a bad ankle. Rick does the same thing, but it's Ok! there's some hypocrisy here. As for me I understand why Rick's company and Shane had to do what they do; that's why i don't blame them. I just hope people can see the hypocrisy of one event being labeled bad and another not being labeled bad.

    It was the fact that the cabin guy was nobody to Rick and his caravan. Cabin dude decided to point his barrel to Rick's head and then open the door and put Rick and the others in danger. Therefor the only way to stay alive was to kill the dumbass. Michonne was the first reactor, which she stabbed him in the back, and nobody cared because cabin dude was dangerous.

    Way different. This guy was crazy an directly threatening them with a gun. Shane's shooting of Otis was nothing more than a bitch slap.
