Remember S2E8 "Nebraska" and S2E9 Triggerfinger? Rick, Herschel and Glenn were at a bar, some guys came in, in the german translation they called the walkers "Matschbirnen", and in S6E13 The Smoking Lady Molly called them also "Matschbirnen", i dont know the english word for it, can somebody cofirm this in the english version ??

Probably not as they would have been too far away from the saviours at that time.

I doubt it. A lot of people who managed to make it were just the type of people who wouldn't have a problem with taking people out to survive.

Nah, just another bad group. A year earlier and 600 miles away.

I'm thinking probably not. Due to the geographical distance.
But then again I guess Rick's group travelled all this way. Perhaps Negan might've done a similar thing, travelled a big distance to make it to the Washington area and establish himself...

Its not the same group. Randall talked about members of the group finding some guy and his two daughters and that group did to the girls. Negan wouldn't allow that.

That would actually be cool, a kind of throw back for us who have been following since day 1. But not likely.

"Slush pears"? I don't remember that term being used, but in the last episode I remember "growlers," in addition to already used terms, like walkers, biters, roamers, rotters, and such.

That group was near Atlanta, they are near DC now. Huge distance. But there's probably hundreds of groups like that through the world in the ZA. if human nature allowed it to happen in one place it'll happen plenty of times.

OP, this was a good thought. Distance doesn't matter... If Rick's group and Morgan made it to here after being separated and having completely different experience, then anyone else could too.

Having said that, I read transcripts, and the 2 guys in S2 Used the term Lamebrains, while in S6 the saviors say Growlers, so the link to both groups isn't there.

    Right

Because Negan just would beat the guy to death and then ask the girls to marry him on the condition that they'll become his slaves should they refuse.

Basically, the German writers/translators basically got lazy and used the same term twice. No big deal.

I don't know how closely they'll stick to comics on Negan's character. But in the comics he takes a hard stance against rape or sexual assault. The women he takes as wives do it for extra food and other privileges. He doesn't take them as slaves. He has a weird moral code that allows him to separate the two.

The only reason Rick's group went that direction was because of Eugene's lie. Why would other people in Atlanta randomly go to DC and risk dying to make that journey?

As any self respecting psychopath would.

I don't read the comics much, but I'm terrified of Neegan already.
