I gather you now understand the paradox between your promotion of no boundaries parenting as a way of addressing modern 'messed up' society and that the same sort of parenting is what caused that state of society. That porn and violence entertainment is for adults.

I actually skipped the scene. I watched their little moment leading up to it, though. I love their pairing, but seeing them like that is kind of awkward. I did something similar like that while reading the comics.

 

I get that due to the comic, Maggie and Glenn need to constantly be joined at the you kno whats but the series just seems to flow better when there is a cut or fade out or something and leaves it to your imagination. We're in the zone, survival, stuff is scary and then BAM someone bumps uglies. I think Andrea and Shane's car sex scene was about the extent I want to see this stuff go down.

 

The extended detail of extreme violence is no problem however. At least you couch it in terms of your preferences rather than some who claim its 'wrong' to show some sex but then don't do the same on the violence. Its still a curious phenomenon however.

 

Yeah, I'm all up for artistic expression/interpretation so I wouldn't really say something like this is "wrong" but yeah, would prefer the survival aspect is played up more than sex.

Maybe I'm just ignorant of the sex scene count so far, but my count has only 2(ish) where they made us watch for longer than the makeout-take the shirt off-cut to next scene-type bits we've had.
The Glenn/Maggie scene made me think "Thank god Maggie didn't let the Gov's actions ruin her idea of sex and she's still enjoying it with Glenn" That made me happy.

But yes, sex scenes, awkward.
