Yup!! That is DJ! First introduced in 8x08, in Season 9, he and Norris grabbed axes in 9x03 when Arat tried to stop them, later he and Jed ambushed Rick and Carol at night. Guess he moved to Alexandria sometime during the timeskip. In addition to him, I recognize at least 3 other (former) Savior extras. Everyone else in the sneak peek are newbies or people I don’t recognize. Saw an Alexandrian who’s been there since Season 6!

 

Pretty much! Back when filming first started one of my sources said “all the work camp Saviors and Hilltoppers die” which I guess was referring to this shootout. Mostly Savior casualties I would imagine + a few Hilltoppers. I did see at least two Saviors, who came with Jed/Regina etc to the work camp confrontation in 9x04, with Maggie, Michonne and the rest in 9x05 on the river bank when Rick was about to blow up the bridge. =D

 

I haven’t noticed her yet, only saw two sneak peeks for 9x06 (Michonne sizing up the newbies then another one of Eugene). BUT I thought you could see Laura at the church when Gabriel interviews the newbies. That was in the S9 trailer so ill go back and look. And that scene would likely be in 9x06.

Negan's hair is both fascinating and confusing me. So far this season, he's got a wilderness beard going on - like Comic Prison Neegs - but a kind of buzzcut thing going on on his head. Which is... an interesting choice, giving all his hair grew out to wild man proportions in the comics. I thought maybe it was like an old-fashioned prison thing like trying to keep out head lice or whatever, but the wild man beard runs opposite of that theory.

Glad the beard is more TV Negan-esque in the latest photo. The buzzcut is still strange to me.

Good thing there's no EPA in the apocalypse, because they'd definitely be looking into the pollution of that river from all the dirt and oil from Daryl - LOL!
