Perhaps they set up the recent developments between Eugene and Rosita just to display his feels of rejection and loneliness so we'd better understand his quick and kind of desperate bond with a woman on the radio.

Sadly it appears there is no Inside Scoop in Strasburg, but there is one in Coopersburg, PA ;)

And what do you think, any deviations to the comic storyline here or are we playin it straight?

Show only, we know there are three unknown locations. The community in the new series, the place Rick is, and Georgie's group. We can assume Rick isn't with Georgie and he's not with the third series group, and I don't think he's with the Commonwealth. So he's probably with a fourth group and Georgie isn't connected to CRM. So of the CRM there is the place Rick is, the commonwealth, and the place from the third series.

Now it's just a matter of finding out which one Eugene is talking to.

I mean they could go the route of a brand new place. My guess is they are going to stick pretty faithful to the comics. It turns out from the poster below which is apparently going to hang on a cork board in the first episode of TWD3, that there are actually 4 different communities known in that show.

Portland, the Civic Republic, Omaha, and Campus Colony. How closely knit these communities are, if they have common goals and M.O.'s, or whether they just send representatives to a fair once a year to stay diplomatic, I'm not sure.

In addition to that we have the group Logan was working for in FTWD.

Here is the actress who voiced the girl on the radio. Margot Bingham.

I have no idea what happens in the comics, but this whole thing reminded me way too much of FTWD. The fact that Eugene is a real pain in the ass to me didn't help.

To put your mind at ease, if they follow the comics [which I think they will be doing], the radio thing does not lead to some hokey and gimmicky FTWD-esque farse. It actually leads to one of the larger and more encompassing arcs in the comics. There's no weird Logan trying to take back his warehouse on the other end, I promise.

Yes, thanks, so I guess that's the Commonwealth arc? I know bits and pieces but never enough to understand anything in advance.

I wonder if the picking of this particular actress to play the character who has initial contact with Eugene is random or not. I mean, Eugene is probably falling for this character as he is, kind of, rejected by Rosita. And guess what, this actress is a, physical appearance wise, Rosita-type hispanic, which is Eugene's type of girl, I think.

FTWD is still 6 or 7 years behind TWD isn't it? Any group Logan was or wasn't working with could very well be nonexistent in the current TWD timeline. And as stupid as the characters are on FTWD would it surprised anyone if they weren't around.

By the way Eugene is suppose to be in the attic of the Barrington House, and the ladder behind him that leads up even higher is suppose to be the ladder to the little cupola on the top of the building.

I could be mistaken, but I thought Fear was still in the early stages of the timeline, compared to TWD. And I thought the 3rd series was set in the future. So 3 different timelines.

I too think they will follow the comic storyline, and it’s possible they already scoped out a place to film it.

    The truth is out there

Fears timeline right now would be around the time of Rick on the bridge.
The WD had an 8 year time jump after Ricks bridge blow out.
So even though Dwight and Morgan talked about the other communities, they would have no idea about the present day whisperer story, as it hasn't happened yet for them.

I think the time jump was 6 years and now we're a year or maybe 2 later than that as we've had Rosita get pregnant and now has CoCo and we've gone through at least one winter.
