I didn't read up to this character's debut in the comics. So I'm interested to see how big of an impact he will have on the story. And that tiger....

 

I've read only so much of the comics, so was aware of Ezekiel, but not much beyond that. I'm interested in what his backstory is. Seems the ultimate chutzpah to name oneself 'King' .

With Shiva, was he a zookeeper before the ZA ? That'd be quite a career jump .

 

Shoulda been Denzel washington. Oh my thats a powerful actor.. or or Idris Elba! imagine. Just imagine Idris Elba being in the walking dead. Russel "Stringer" Bell? John Luther? Oh my..

 

Just wanted to let you know you misspelled Ezekiel in the post title.

 

My dream Ezekiel choice was Samuel L Jackson. But, I'm excited to see this actor tackle the roll to.

I think Khary plays the role amazingly and he was great on Talking Dead. I truly enjoyed the episode and watching him speak about the character.

Sooooo I'm just gonna put this here and not even say what the first thing i noticed was.

 

For me, Ezekiel was one of the bright spots and strong parts of S7. Kary did a phenomenal job playing him. I even love the CGI tiger, plus kudos to Jerry. I like that Ezekiel is a man of principles, cautious and protective of the people in his "kingdom" , yet also a man of compassion who will shelter and save people and a man with the courage to fight when fighting rather than capitulation is necessary. Ezekiel has the complexity of character and story line than makes TWD such a great story.

 

is it that Jerry doesn't have strudel? Or that Zeke seems to have a big log of it stowed down the front of his pants?
