    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I HAVE AN LOS ANGELES ACCENT THIS IS A DISASTER

    However it is very red in the Santa Cruz mountains and Silicon Valley which is where I live, so this is pretty accurate.

    Yeah, this is kind of cool. My "most similar" cities are Grand Rapids, Detroit, and Toledo, which is pretty damn spot-on to where I live (southern/central Michigan).

    Interesting quiz to take though. I didn't have a clear answer for some of those questions. For example, I use the terms "drinking fountain" and "water fountain" interchangeably. I also had no idea that some people have a word for "the strip of grass between the road and the sidewalk".

    Yea, I got Toledo, Fort Wayne, and Grand Rapids which is spot on considering I'm from NW Ohio.

    If you seen the map, apparently Cleveland has a word for the strip of grass between road and sidewalk, lol.

    That's funny how both of you have Grand Rapids because that was one of the cities that was least like mine, along with Des Moines and something else.

    That's cool, really. So basically you're least like a Midwestern in terms of how you say words lol.

    I was least like someone from New England.

    This test is very accurate. I have a Denver dialect and a northern Missouri dialect, with a little western Nevada mixed in too. Two of those places I've lived at.

    I took it twice and got New York, Jersey City and Yonkers both times. I'm from London, UK so I don't know if this is bad or good

    It just means that if you came here, you would sound most similar to someone from NYC. Despite most likely still having a very noticeable British accent, so people would assume that first.

    born in chicago but seems Indiana and Iowa similar.
    the real city chicago people kinda sound more like NewYorkers.
    and us who live out side of Chicago have more relaxed dialect.
    so what is it, "soda" "pop"or "cola":director:
