SO. BADASS. I was so impressed by Glenn. He's so motivated by proving others wrong, his love for Maggie, his loyalty to the group. Such an amazing episode for his character.

 

Very tense! Glenn may be a little guy, but WOW!!! He just proved he has bigger balls than Merle and The Govenor rolled into one!

 

I also liked his faith in Rick. Even though it would be nearly impossible for Rick to have known where Glen and Maggie were (Glen has no idea that Michionne observed and reported what happened to Rick), he still has unshakeable faith in Rick. He must look up to and admire Rick a whole lot. Also ... at the time Glen left, Rick was still delerious and wasn't of sound mind. The fact that he believes in him given these obstacles is remarkable.

Its kind of like the Doctor (as in, Dr. Who) - believing he'll show up no matter what the circumstance is.

 

Glenn the MAN!! About time, he was introduced as a wise-cracking bad-A from the street, and became emo/on the verge of tears as soon as he met Maggie.

 

Glenn definitely has a really good reason to kill The Gov now. And revenge violence always make for great viewing. Damn, my list of people I want to see off both Merle and The Gov keeps growing. I want to see it happen through so many people I can't decide which one is at the top!

 

Yeah Glen was really bad ass..

when he head butted Merle at first i thought that move was really stupid. but a few minutes later i realized it was pretty smart. Merle had started off by talking about Glens GF. After glen head butted merle, Merle was too pissed off , and eager to beat Glen, to leave Glen to abuse Maggie. So it may have helped Maggie out

 

I say "Glenn, this ones for you pal" everyone at the bar taps beer bottles! Lol

 

I just gotta say that Steven Yeun was fantastic in last night's episode. His acting was so amazing, and I'm glad that he got to showcase his range. Glenn was absolutely badass, and is now one of my favorite characters on the show.

 

i also forgot he let that walker bite his arm with all the duct tape.


WHEN he survives i bet he takes that little trick back with him.

 

The chair's arm protected Glenn from that bite. I froze when it happened but realized he was OK after driving the wood through the walker's brain.

 

This was THE GLENN episode.

 

I've always liked Glenn more then most, but now he's easily my favorite male protagonist on the show. Extremely loyal, but shows that gritty side he lacked early on and doesn't look to be going anywhere soon. I doubt the writers would off him anytime soon now. They are making him a very likeable character and besides Rick there really aren't too many to root for right now.

 

Man, as much as I would have loved that, I would have had to stop watching. I'm a huge Hulk fan too.:zombies_lol:

 

Agreed. I wish they would do more episodes like this where it isn't all about Rick and Daryl. I want more episodes featuring Glen, Maggie, Oscar, Axel, Michonne or even T-dog when he was still alive.

 

I always knew that Glenn had it in him.

All I could really think of when he did that yell at the back of the wall was about Conan of Cimmeria.

 

I've always liked Glenn, but after this episode he was fantastic. Brilliant acting. Glenn is definitely one of the best characters of the show.
