Last night I saw a girl dressed up as Skye from Paw Patrol, and it was the exact costume Quinn wore a couple Halloweens ago when she was 2. So i said "hi Skye!!!" and i got the blank stare. I think it's super funny.

One year I had a slew of kids (all in a group) around the age of 13 or so and NONE of them were in costume. I told them if they were unwilling to put forth the effort to wear a costume then I was unwilling to share my candy (and I give out GOOD candy LOL)

I think i was 13 or 14 the last time i went trick or treating...me, my sister, and 2 of our female cousins all painted our faces like KISS and wore black. We only got a couple comments like "aren't you a little OLD?" Which always bothers me. I painted my f*cking face and i'm still a kid so just hand over the candy Debra. :)

But i understand the no costume thing. Put in the effort!

If someone was 20 years old and came to my house in a costume (on Halloween of course) I would give them candy. EDIT: this just sounds so wrong LMAO

It just griped my constitution that the little heathens expected candy just because they knocked on my door, you gotta work for that shit. OH GOD I sound like Donald Trump ROFLMAO

It's a good lesson to them! They don't get stuff for simply existing. :p You gotta put on a disguise and pretend to be someone else...kinda like when you go to an office job.

I did the same thing last night. I give out handfuls of good candy. I told them I require some effort. A mask, a cape, SOMETHING! These weren't poor kids that came to our neighborhood to trick or treat. It was kids I knew. I'm a "more the merrier" kind of person and I am happy to buy extra candy for the kids that come to our neighborhood to trick or treat. I'm a bit over the top for decorating for Halloween. I absolutely love it!

I am also annoyed by teeneagers trick or treating. My friends daughter showed up with her friends. I said "Seriously, you are 18." She said free candy, I told them to move along.

Last night was one of the most epic Halloween nights I've ever had.

My daughter, who's 14, decided that this would be her last year trick or treating, because, well... she's "too mature" for that stuff. But her friends aren't, so she decided to do one last hoorah.... until next year when she struggles with the same dilemma. lol

Mrs. Jama, myself and my oldest boy decided to tag along with her and some friends as they "terrorized" the neighborhood.

My daughter dressed up in the skeleton costume that Johnny and the Cobra Kai dudes wore on Karate Kid. It was pretty friggin cool, I must say.

She would even run up to her friends and pretend to beat them up (using karate moves) and try to take their bags of candy. bwaaaaahahaha. That's my girl.

My oldest son, who's now 20 (Ugh! I'm getting old) dressed up as Alice Cooper, but his wig was a little too frizzy and he was wearing a top hat (because AC sometimes wore one of those too).

So I say "Hey dude! You ALSO look like Slash from Guns and Roses". Well.... He didn't like that. BUT.... every SINGLE time another guy my age saw him, they would say "Nice Slash costume dude!" bwaaaaahahahahaha! And then he would correct them. Every. Time.

Finally, some guy said "Nice! You're Alice Cooper" and that made his night. I guess 1 out of 10 is better than nothing.

Then we went to the mall and that was awesome. Some places handed out full size candy bars. They had a haunted house. They had a hang out for adults only and there was a big orgy (I'm kidding). Lot's of fun games and activities. It was great.

No age limit for me. Anyone who dresses up gets candy. Parents who dress up to escort their children? Yep, they are offered candy. :)

Just saw the video of the little girl in the Phillipines who was carrying her own head around, with people putting treats in her neck hole. Priceless!
