I think he's alive. And i think he is hiding. Kid must know he messed up. And he's probably really angry at himself for letting his brothers' killer go. So i think he is hiding somewhere out of shame but will return for just one more episode where he will die from something Morgan did or didn't do.

 

Maybe he will make an Aikido move to save Morgan from something and in the process wind up dead.

 

Given that he's the real life brother of the actress that played Sophia, it would be a nice touch to have him walk out of (a) barn. Dead or alive (I really don't care).

 

I think he's alive and the escaped saviors have him. They will use him as a hostage.

 

I concur (technically, I concurred first, elsewhere...) I'd like to see him mounted to a pole on the hood of a Saviour vehicle, as in Mad Max 2

 

Morgan will find him with the saviors when her and Rick go looking

 

I'd say he's alive for now, but not for long. I can't see them keeping the character very long and he's annoying. Henry reminds me of the little kids that run over your toes in Walmart with their mommas buggy and sticks their tongue out at you.

Refresh my memory. Morgan told Henry that Gavin killed his brother. Did someone else tell him differently?

I don't remember it if they did. So why would he think that his killer was in the cage. They were preparing for attack, so he knew there were a lot of other ones.

 

We never saw anything to make him believe his brother's killer was still alive.

Reina thinks he is a smart kid who is used to being lied to by adults. I think it is bad plotting to get that gate open so prisoners could escape. Even if he did thik the killer was in there, he wouldn't have been dumb enough to open the pen.

We just have to roll with it.

 

What I'd like to know is who's watching the kids? Stealing guns, letting the prisoners out....it's getting to the point where each child has to be assigned an adult guardian who will watch them and has the responsibility to make sure they're accounted for at every minute. That might not seem practical at first glance but left to their own devices the kids have been doing things that jeopardize not only themselves but everyone else as well. Whether or not he's still alive, no good is going to come from his actions.

 

lol Real kids are wiser, if you ask me. I think it's the writing that makes these look like they need full-time individual handlers, including a night shift.

 

That's what I'm thinking, another Sophia moment that will haunt Carol.

This whole season has had a lot of interesting call backs and visual connections to seasons 1-3.

Hilltop looks like the Farm, a main house and people sleeping in tents out front.

Last night felt like the prison flu arc.

Before that Rick loses a member of his family and Daryl protects Judith while he's dealing with the loss. Just like when Lori died.

These repeated themes will continue and I think a Henry/Sophia scene is coming up.
