Homer And The Route

    On the map that Abraham gave to Rick it appears they are currently located just east of a town called Homer, Georgia. The plan is to take interstate 85 directly to Washington.

    This also tells us that the church is approximately 75 miles northeast of Atlanta.

    When I wrote the title I thought it was going to be about The Simpsons. Then when I wrote the post I realized it wasn't.

    When I first saw this title, I thought the thread was about the episode in the Simpsons where they tell historical stories and The Odyssey was one of the stories.

    My question is, shouldn't Eugene develop some kind of navi system. That way they could be alerted of Walkers ahead.

    Wasn't the church very close to Terminus? If so, Terminus was way south of Atlanta, near Macon....this does not make logistic sense.

    Right it wouldn't make sense if Terminus was near Macon, unless they walked like 250 miles in less than 2 days. I have a feeling they kept the Terminus maps deliberately confusing so that we weren't really suppose to know where Terminus was, although yes, if you really study those Terminus maps, it does seem to be right at or near Macon.

    When they are at the bookstore, Tara says that broad river is 5 miles west of where they are. That would put them in Lavonia, Georga. You can see here where Broad River crosses route 85, and Lavonia is about 5 miles east. So they already crossed broad river, so that would be turning around.

    When I first saw this post, I thought you said that they were 5 miles west of where they were, in Latvia, which is not 5 miles from where they were.

    It would probably be better if he came up with some sort of navel system, where they could store each other's lint.
