I thought they were torturing someone downstairs, but they were likely fighting over the food that Rick and Carl had collected.

 

They were too busy freaking out about finding a woman's shirt. =/

 

Because they're probably used to their own group members bashing eachother, we already heard it once and saw a fight a second time in the one episode.

 

Yeah, how groups like this can form and stay together is beyond me. But it is realistic, as even without zombies, people do this every day.

They were all drunk, and weren't bothered what was going on upstairs.

 

I'm assuming that with the noise they were making, that the noise of the fight was somewhat dampened. Also, these are the kind of guys who fight each other and probably break things for no reason. A bunch of stuff getting smashed in a bathroom is probably fairly normal for them.

 

Remember nobody bothered checking during the first fight? It just goes to show fighting and brawling is common in their group, thus it was ignored.
