All the noise from the shootout should draw all the walkers in the state. Woodbury is going to have their hands full soon.

homosexuals are not necessarily "lame." sexual preference should not be a factor in this.

Under the bus must be blocked off, otherwise walkers would be crawling under the bus to get in.

The bus was parked in front of the front gate. Going over was the only option aside from moving the bus so they could open the gate.

While that would logically make sense given how Walkers have reacted to such noise, it makes TOO much sense and therefore will not happen.

There's reality, suspension of belief and WD suspension of belief.

In the episode where Michonne leaves Woodbury you can see that there is huge gap between the bottom of the gate and the ground. If the bus was parked in front of the gate, then they definitely should have gone under.

These are not normal road tires at Woodbury. They are stacks of tractor tires. If team prison hit multiple tire spots along a certain side of the city with fuel and fire, it would smoke and burn day and night. Plus it might catch other buildings on fire. Terrorists use burning car tires to block streets and blind the stronger forces with smoke. Same principle only hitting a defensive target.

The added bonus of burning tires is it would attract walkers, smoke out (at least) the fence security, and take out key vantage points (too hot to be near). We will agree to disagree that it would force the residents to move. The idea behind it is it acts as a diversion so team prison can be tunnel rats in the sewers (assuming there is access).

'Cause the giant wooden rabbit NEVER works

They were caught by the guy they knocked out, making that exit unavailable unless you want to run into a possible ambush.

But they zip-tied him, knocked him out and shoved a rag in his mouth. He wasn't a threat anymore.

I imagine they keep the area around Woodbury rather zombie free for quite a distance with their fighters out on patrols every day.

If that were the case, they would not have multiple guards at multiple posts 24/7 at the Woodbury perimeter. Just a mile from Woodbury, Rick and the gang were almost overrun by walkers at the cabin with the dead dog. That area is full of walkers.

I cosign this, couldn't have said it better.

I think as someone else pointed out, the guards/gates were a few miles away from the actual community so that meant there were a significant number of empty buildings to start burning on the other end or in between the gates. The point would be to spread them thin, it would've either been find who started this and loose the community or stop the chaos, put down the walkers and put out the fires. If they choose the latter, then it would've given Rick and company time to run around the community with less resistance and find Glenn and Maggie, etc.

Cosign this, they did get lucky when I think back on it. They got lucky with that one incompetent patrolman coming in the house and taking the ambush and feeding them info. Had it not been for that tidbit of info, things wouldn't have gone as "smoothly" as they did. But I must admit, I did enjoy the shootout.
