P.S. The girl's name Fauna was shown as Young Deer on one site I looked at it, but I used to write about the flora and fauna of countries in school reports on Switzerland or Bolivia or whatever. (Still just as fond of geography as the stereotypical American. )

Free podcast series. This is by the two daughters of Fauna, who died 17 months ago. Although the daughters grew up knowing all of the Hodel horrors, they learned more details when they went through Fauna's things in a storage locker upon her death. They said Fauna was the Nancy Drew of her own story. (The daughters loved her to the moon and back. The cycle finally broke. )
