When they scavenging the plane wreckage,
    they talked

    -----------------------------------------------
Alicia:All these years never knowing where
you were or what you were doing.
    And now here you are.

    Nick: I was always there.
    I was just hungry
    -----------------------------------------------

I don't know what they are talking about...

Can anyone explain what they are talking about????

why suddenly nick said hungry? and where did he always be?

It seems Alicia is referring to Nick being an addict - always missing, out getting high, disappearing for long lengths of time and turning back up claiming to be sober, or hospitalized, etc. They never knew where he ever was, and now he's always present.

As for him saying he was "hungry", I took that as a silly spin on the fact that he always required getting high.

Yeah I don't know any other way to interpret it except that by hungry he meant hopelessly addicted. His choice of words is no accident though as they are being pretty open about comparing his former dope fiend self to that of a zombie.
