Cool. You should get it signed by JDM. Much better replica than I've seen too.

Ebay. It isn't an official TWD item. A guy there actually makes them. Real bat and real barbed-wire. (I cut myself 3 times playing with it.)

Got from ebay. You can get it with fake blood, but I wanted a clean one.

Oh, that's right. They probably wouldn't let you in a con with real barbed wire. It's still very nice.

Thanks for the info. Located the item online, also located a "bloody" version. I might buy the bloody version when I get the money.

He sells two for much cheaper than buying two separately. Maybe if you know someone who will buy the second one, you can email the guy and ask for one bloody.

I like the handcrafted ones, mostly because I think the official replicas have stumped barbs. There's just something that irritates me about paying top dollar for a replica that has been rendered basically harmless, kudos to the handcrafters.

i find that wrapping a bat in barbed wire isn't really all that practical. it would be super hard to clean in real life and too much crap would get stuck in the wire. the last thing you want to do is cut yourself while cleaning the zombie guys off of it.

True! It's a wonder Negan is still alive.

Could make a spiral of barbed wire that snaps on to the bat at the top and bottom. Unsnap and hose down as needed. Air dry. Resnap.

Girls still get craftsy in the apocalypse. :)

The bats made at eBay are barbed-wire held with three staples. That's really all you need. The staples simply prevent the wire from unwrapping.

During the Zombie Apocalypse, it would be a simple maintenance chore to pull the staples, unwrap the old wire, then replace it. We're talking 30 minutes with gloves and a contractor staple gun. Plus, Negan has his minions to do work he doesn't want to do.
