HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM????

 

LOL I will actually scoop mostly chocolate if i can! It's not that i dislike other flavors, but to me when there is chocolate that's all that matters.

I will say though, the strawberry is good if there's a little bit mixed with the chocolate. Vanilla is...i mean what is the point of vanilla icecream if it's not coated in fudge and topping a fudge brownie? How boring.

 

I actually eat the chocolate more too LOL. But I love the strawberry and vanilla. I like mixing it up too. YUM.

 

In case I don't survive, be sure to let the world know that this is my favorite thread. Ever.

That sounds like it would be MUCH easier to scoop just chocolate out of!

 

IT WOULD BE but you would not want to scoop out just the chocolate because Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla is THE BEST HOMEMADE VANILLA ICE CREAM EVAH!!!!

But I do think that a photo presentation of just how easy it would be to scoop out just chocolate from the carton is warranted so I present....Blue Bell The Great Divide. Note how the flavors are not swirled together!

I just looked at their website, and nothing in Michigan...closest retailer is in Ohio and is about 83 miles away. But they do allow ordering over the phone - it's $129 for 4 half gallons.

 

Pfft has been sold in Lousiana since the 80's because my then mother in law was through the moon with joy when it hit the grocery stores in her town LOL

And I was mistaken it is north of the Mason Dixon because it is sold in Colorado and about 23 other states. The earliest venture from Texas was in the late 80s

 

I mean the ice cream WAS voted by Forbes as the best Ice Cream in the country (2001) BUT it is not $129 worth of goodness.

I mean I suppose if I were an ice cream aficionado I might pay that kind of cash for ice cream but since a gallon of ice cream can (and has) literally sat in my freezer for over 6 months I do not qualify as an aforementioned aficionado

It said most of the price was due to shipping since they have to keep it frozen I just don't think i could justify it unless like you said, i was some kind of ice cream expert lol. I would just gobble it down mindlessly like any other ice cream i've eaten in my life.

 

When I was a kid and almost the only flavors were chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla, I honestly could not fathom why vanilla even existed.

But this Haagen Dazs is my all-time favorite ice cream. The vanilla balance is perfect.

Blue Bell is in all the stores around here, they even have a creamery here, so I guess they produce it there or warehouse it from there. If you come to Florida, you're good to go.
